Lighthouses and the Path to Impact: Adopting AI at Speed and Scale

In today’s rapidly evolving business landscape, introducing technology alone is not sufficient to effectively capture and sustain the full potential of productivity improvements. Successful leaders have built a strategic roadmap and evolved their entire operating model to achieve desired outcomes, including environmental sustainability, faster innovation, more accessible products and services, higher customer satisfaction, and engaged workforces. The playbook that has emerged from the Global Lighthouse Network – an initiative by the World Economic Forum, co-founded with McKinsey & Company – can serve as inspiration when seeking the path to success. This session will explore the rapid proliferation of machine intelligence, the importance of incorporating a range of technology solutions, as well as the 6 key success factors required to execute at-scale deployments and create sustainable and profitable growth.

Dinu is a partner at McKinsey’s Zurich office. With a focus on elevating client aspirations in operational performance, he integrates lean principles with cutting-edge AI, digital, and automation technologies. Leading the Swiss Operations Hub, Innovation & Learning Centers, and overseeing the Global Lighthouse Network’s activities in EMEA, he is at the forefront of driving impactful change.
