Digital Transformation the Foundation for Decarbonization and a Greener Future

IOT SOLUTIONS WORLD CONGRESS Climate Change and Sustainability

Wednesday 22, 13:35h - 14:05h | Room 2
22-05-2024 13:35 22-05-2024 14:05 Europe/Madrid Digital Transformation the Foundation for Decarbonization and a Greener Future Digital transformation plays a key role in supporting the goal of net-zero emissions by proactively identifying critical emission sources and recommended solutions. This includes the capability of examining emission composition, acquiring and analyzing related trended data, creating digital twins and optimizing models. The goal is to reach a proactive and integrative approach that manages decarbonization and results in industrial operation with a greener future. This presentation will provide an approach that encompasses different digital transformation capabilities such as IIoT, AI/ML, and Digital Twin as a foundation to reach this goal. In addition, best practices that overcome challenges associated with data quality, integration requirements, standardization and timely compliance will be shared. Moreover, a proposed method to analyze and predict energy demands and associated emission will be presented. Room 2
