Public/Private Partnerships to Enable Smart City Adoption

While much of the technology driving smart cities is brought to market in the private sector, there is a powerful role for government and regulatory bodies to play in the development of these solutions. Supporting standards ensure various systems and components operate in concert. Public policy can devise incentives that accelerate adoption and streamline implementation.
