VODAFONE AUTOMOTIVE AND GENERALI JOIN TOGETHER TO BOOST THE DIGITALIZATION OF TELEMATICS INSURANCE

This agreement is part of the digitalization and innovation strategy of GENERALI Spain, which is committed to the implementation of telematics insurance in response to the needs of its customers and the market in general

Vodafone announced an agreement with GENERALI Spain, one of the most important insurers in the Spanish market that has more than three million policyholders throughout the national territory.

With this agreement, a telematics insurance project will be launched, which promotes the “connected car” and which is part of the innovation and digital transformation project that GENERALI Spain is carrying out. Vodafone Automotive proposes a comprehensive service model, being the only provider that integrates the entire value chain, providing each of the services that are required in each step of the project: design and hardware testing, manufacturing, connectivity network, telematics platform, applications and comprehensive service provision, intelligent claim management, as well as extensive expertise in telematics projects at an international level. A result of this, Vodafone Automotive becomes a valuable partner with capacity to respond to the present and future needs of the insurer.
