Biography

Zach is the Lead Software Architect at Cowboy, based in Belgium. Cowboy designs and sells connected electric bikes and is present in eleven countries in Europe, recently also launching in the United States. Prior to joining Cowboy, Zach gained industry experience founding and developing software startups in his home country of Ireland.

In this session, Pat Wilbur, CTO of Hologram, will discuss some of the security challenges caused by connectivity, then shift gears to focus on the opportunities and innovations in security that IoT enables. He’ll be joined by Zach Diebold, Lead Software Architect of Cowboy, to share how Cowboy has harnessed connectivity to bring better safety and security for their bikes and riders.
