The quality of a welding spot is a critical step in the process of assembling of the body of a car.Today the quality of the welding spot is based on manual operation testing a small quantity of the production. In this session we will present a real-time “in process” technology for the analysis of welding spot quality (Resistance Welding Spot Process Analytics) using AWS IoT solutions and a machine learning model developed by Audi. This new technology, predicts the quality of the weld spot, detects production anomalies and identifies welding process optimization for newly produced vehicles.
