Fabrizio is a Principal Solutions Architect for Industrial IoT at Amazon Web Services (AWS). His current area of focus is working with the VW Digital Production Platform on connected factory, predictive quality and maintenance solutions. Before that, he delivered strategic projects concerning smart products and distributed data systems.

The quality of a welding spot is a critical step in the process of assembling of the body of a car.Today the quality of the welding spot is based on manual operation testing a small quantity of the production.In this session we will present a real-time “in process” technology for the analysis of welding spot quality (Resistance Welding Spot Process Analytics) using AWS IoT solutions and a machine learning model developed by Audi. This new technology, predicts the quality of the weld spot, detects production anomalies and identifies welding process optimization for newly produced vehicles.
