The application of the AI in the Industrial IoT field is at the center of the next wave of digitalization. The Industrial Internet Consortium (IIC) is uniquely positioned to lead in this emerging area through its diverse stakeholders that include world leading IT and OT organizations, extensive IIoT ecosystem that it has built through its liaison program and its domain expertise in Industrial AI. This panel will look at the intersection of Industrial IoT and AI, specifically emphasizing the emerging work coming out of the IIC that includes technology deliverables driven by the Industrial AI Task Group, an overview of testbeds looking at Industrial AI applications, domain requirements and end-user interest in Industrial AI.
