Biography

Mr. Souza is the Functional Safety and Industrial Control Systems Cybersecurity Lead at AcuTech Group, Inc. He is an Electrical, Instrumentation, and Control Systems Engineer with 29 years of experience. He is a Qualified Course Instructor for the ISA and a Forensic Engineer with the Forensic Consultants of North America (FCNA). He has served for the ISA84 Functional Safety and other committees. Also, he is part of the FBI’s InfraGard.

This session explores lessons learned from recent cyber risk assessments, highlighting the challenges of implementing security controls in both green and brownfield environments.
