The EV fleet reached 43 million by the end of 2023, growing a 49% compared to 2022. A recently published study by the International Energy Agency (IEA) presents two possible scenarios for the development of the EV fleet until 2030. In the first scenario, the total number of EVs would be around 150 million units, including all categories of pure EVs and plug-in hybrids. In the second scenario, the total electric vehicle fleet in 20230 would be close to 250 million units. Whatever the final scenario, the number of charging points linked to these vehicles, together with semi-public and public access will be equivalent to the final fleet, so we are talking about a number of chargers ranging between 150 and 250 million. Of these, more than 80% of chargers will be installed in the "private" sector and more than 10% in the "semi-public" sector, which means that less than 10% of chargers will be public. Room 2
