IOT Solutions World Congress will feature an official Turkish pavilion for the first time

IOT Solutions World Congress (IOTSWC), the leading international event on industry transformation through disruptive technologies, will for the first time in its history have an official representation of technology companies from Turkey. To this end, the Fira de Barcelona event has signed a collaboration agreement with Turkish Business Hub, an organisation whose aim is to promote business relations between Spain and Turkey and boost Turkey’s image as a technology partner in our country.

By virtue of this agreement, Turkish Business Hub will carry out the marketing and promotion of the eighth edition of the IOT Solutions World Congress, which will take place from 21 to 23 May at the Gran Via exhibition centre, in the Turkish market, one of the most dynamic in the field of new technologies.

The director of IOTSWC, Marc Tarragó, pointed out that “with this agreement, our event expands borders and reaches a particularly interesting market due to its strength and geostrategic location as a bridge between Europe and Asia”.

For his part, the founder and CEO of Turkish Business Hub, Özgür Özdemircili, stated that “this is a very important milestone in our mission to unite Turkey and Spain. This agreement will not only serve the Turkish IOT ecosystem as cybersecurity, giving Turkish companies the possibility to demonstrate their products and services, but it will also give Spanish companies the opportunity to meet their new partners in Turkey. We hope to continue strengthening the technological bridge between the two countries, together with Fira de Barcelona, for many years”.

Organized by Fira de Barcelona, the latest edition of IOTSWC, which was visited by more than 12,000 professionals, had 330 exhibitors, 172 conferences and sessions, and more than 250 national and international speakers.
