IOT Solutions World Congress 2023 to boost the transformative technology solutions industry

IOT Solutions World Congress (IOTSWC), the leading international event on industry transformation through disruptive technologies has today opened registration for visitors and delegates for the 2023 edition. From January 31 to February 2, the event will return to Fira de Barcelona’s Gran Via venue for its seventh edition, under the theme Game-changing technologies for industry transformation. IOTSWC will once again be held in alongside Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) with the aim of strengthening a unique innovation platform that brings together leading industry solution providers and showcases the latest trends with the goal of boosting the ecosystem of transformative technology solutions.

Organized by Fira de Barcelona together with the Industry IOT Consortium® (IIC™), and The Digital Twin Consortium® the 2023 edition of IOTSWC will group the congress sessions around five themes – Industrial IoT, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Twins, Edge Computing, Augmented Reality and 5G Technologies – and will focus on industry sectors such as Healthcare, Manufacturing, Smart factories, Supply chain, Energy and utilities, Smart buildings and Connected transportation. An executive committee comprised of thirty industry experts will be responsible for developing the conference program. The members of this committee are professionals from companies such as Accenture, Amazon Web Services, Baxter, Dell, Deloitte, Fi-ware, GE, Microsoft, Relayr and Siemens, among others

The director of IOTSWC, Roger Bou, said: “We are certain that IOTSWC 2023 will experience a qualitative leap after the successful edition of 2022. The ecosystem of business transformation technologies has shown great dynamism and a successful venue for driving new projects and the Barcelona event is undoubtedly the best platform to find partners and solutions for this endeavor. Moreover, the joint celebration with ISE last year proved to be an excellent idea that opened new horizons for professionals in both sectors and we are excited to hold them simultaneously again in 2023.

A relationship for the future
Following the success of the first co-located edition of IOTSWC and ISE in 2022, the two events have decided to continue their co-location. At the first joint edition, the events explored the common ground between two different sets of disruptive technologies and the potential this offers to attendees and exhibitors. Thus, visitors will again be able to access the exhibition areas of both events at no additional cost, while IOTSWC delegates will receive a 50% discount if they wish to register for any of the ISE.

Barcelona Cybersecurity Congress
To highlight the importance of cybersecurity in an increasingly connected and digital future, IOTSWC will once again host the Barcelona Cybersecurity Congress (BCC), an annual event co-organized with the Agència de Ciberseguretat de Catalunya of the Government of Catalonia. In its fourth edition, the BCC will bring together leading players and experts in the field and will pose practical challenges to professionals in the field with the aim of perfecting companies’ protection systems given the growing number of cyber-attacks.
