Drones, sensors and blockchain for water quality control

Aldeadavila Dam is a concrete arch-gravity dam on the Douro River on the border between Spain and Portugal.

The combination of modern robotics, blockchain and IoT demonstrates how the environment can be monitored to prevent natural disasters and to promote open data to citizens for a better transparency. A matrix of data coming from many of these drones could feed Artificial Intelligence systems to easily and quickly detect a source of pollution while offering an open decentralized market for drones services in smart cities.
