29-10-2019 17:30 29-10-2019 18:15 Europe/Madrid EU-03 – Gas Network Monitoring: Applications of IoT with Energy Harvesting in Distribution Networks

The introduction of sensors and actuators in gas distribution networks has never been an easy task due to lack of power supply, which can make implementation difficult. Measuring parameters like gas flow and pressure at supply points in a simple and low-cost way has always been a key challenge.  This session will explore Gas Network Monitoring (GNM), a use case based on energy harvesting. Discover how you can monitor operation parameters (flow, pressure, noise...) at supply points and network stations (ERM) and in a simple, fast and low-cost manner.
