EU5 – Optimizing Facility Operations Using Model Predictive Controls, IoT, Deep and Machine Learning

The large-scale proliferation of connected devices necessitates the use of sophisticated data analytics techniques and unified computational framework to understand the past, present and future of operations in the domain of smart environment management. Improved productivity, comfort, safety, mobility, accessibility, health and well-being are few common objectives of IoT-enabled smart building solutions, where recognition, evaluation, and forecasting are common techniques to develop a plan to achieve optimization goals. In this presentation, we will share high-level system architecture to incorporate continuous learning into an IoT application and share popular AI techniques including MPC, LSTM, planning methods, reinforcement learning., etc., used in implementing self-conscious buildings.
