30-10-2019 18:15 30-10-2019 19:00 Europe/Madrid EU-09 – Innovating Built Environment Management: Using Machine Learning to Enhance Building Performance

In Hong Kong, buildings account for 90% of electricity consumption and contribute 60% of the city’s greenhouse gas emissions. At the same time 50% of the building stock are classified as ‘sick buildings’, which are prone to causing human discomfort due to factors such as lighting, air quality and temperature control. This session will explore how you can integrate IOT and AI with existing Building Management Systems to provide insight and machine learning models for built environmental improvement, operation and asset management, energy monitoring and optimisation. Discover how this technology creates a better indoor environment in order to improve employee productivity and wellbeing and how it can drive the digital transformation of the built environment.
